The Vietnam Trade Office in Canada is pleased to announce the official launch of the “Vietnamese Products in Canada” section on our website. This new platform serves as an official channel to introduce, update, and promote Vietnamese products currently available in the Canadian market, while also creating an information bridge between businesses, consumers, and the Vietnamese community in Canada. The launch coincides with the promotional program “Vietnamese Products in Canada – Tet Binh Ngo 2026” a key trade promotion initiative aimed at showcasing newly introduced Vietnamese agricultural and food products to Canadian consumers in celebration of the traditional Lunar New Year.
The program seeks to raise consumer awareness of the diversity, quality, and unique cultural identity of Vietnamese products. In recent years, Vietnamese goods, ranging from fresh fruits, processed foods, and traditional spices to specialty Tet products, have increasingly strengthened their presence in Canada thanks to their ability to meet stringent safety and quality standards. The initiative also aims to boost consumption of Tet-related products in particular, and Vietnamese goods in general, while encouraging both the Vietnamese community and Canadian friends to prioritize Vietnamese products in their daily shopping.
This event also marks an opportunity to recognize the important role and ongoing efforts of the Vietnam Trade Office in Canada in supporting businesses and expanding market access. During the period 2020–2025, Vietnam’s exports to Canada doubled, reaching over USD 13 billion, reflecting the effective collaboration among Vietnamese enterprises, the overseas Vietnamese community, and Canadian partners.
To encourage consumers to experience Vietnamese products, the Trade Office is launching a voucher giveaway program with values of 25 CAD, 50 CAD, and potentially up to 100 CAD for use at some major supermarkets in Canada such as: Walmart, T&T, Kim Phat… From now until February 13, 2026, individuals of all nationalities are invited to participate by sending an email to the Vietnam Trade Office (email: ca@moit.gov.vn, subject: Vietnam Food Celebrations in Ca), naming three new Vietnamese products introduced to Canada for the Lunar New Year 2026. Email should be sent along with a picture of the product, which can be taken at home, at the supermarket, or on a flyer from any supermarket across Canada in 2026. Participants who provide correct answers will receive vouchers by mail to the address indicated in their email. Vouchers are limited in number and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Vietnam Trade Office in Canada hopes that the “Vietnamese Products in Canada” section will become a valuable source of information, helping Canadian consumers and the Vietnamese community gain a deeper understanding of the quality and rich variety of Vietnamese products. The “Vietnamese Products in Canada – Tet Binh Ngo 2026” program is an open invitation to everyone to explore, experience, and support Vietnamese goods, contributing to bringing Vietnamese products closer to the international market.
