The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) has signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Gaw NP Capital to finance the entire Onehub Saigon project with a total limit of up to US$206 million at preferential lending interest rates.

Vietcombank will also provide Gaw NP Capital with other financial services such as money management, foreign exchange and capital market, working capital financing, card payment, online payment, and ATM.

Ngô Minh Nhựt, a representative of Vietcombank – Tân Định branch, said: “This comprehensive cooperation agreement will create a premise for the two organisations to maximise their strengths and develop an increasingly strong business cooperation relationship.

“Gaw NP Capital’s development orientation is in Vietcombank’s list of priority credit growth sectors, so we have committed to creating all conditions to implement the signed content.”

Also at the signing ceremony, the Saigon Hi-Tech Park Management Board granted the amended investment registration certificate for the Onehub Saigon Complex project to increase the construction scale to 11 buildings, with a total construction floor area of 360,288 sq.m and investment capital to $169.4 million.

Invested in and developed by Gaw NP Capital following international standards, the modern mixed-use development project was granted the first investment registration certificate in 2014, with a total investment of $130 million and a 10-building construction scale.

Võ Sỹ Nhân, general director of Gaw NP Capital, said: “Onehub Saigon is a large scale mixed-use development based on the modern integrated business park model of international standard. The increase in the project scale represents a strong reaffirmation of the commitment to investing in Saigon Hi-Tech Park in particular and in HCM City in general.”

Gaw NP Capital was formed in 2016 from a strategic partnership between Gaw Capital Partners (Hong Kong’s major private equity fund management company specialising in the global real estate sector) and NP Capital Partners (the real estate investment and management unit that has extensive experience with a large network of relationships in the real estate market in Việt Nam).
