The Vietnam Trade Office (VTO) is pleased to share with you that we will organize a 3 days business trip for Singaporean Rice Importers to visit Vietnamese Rice producers and authorities in November 2018.
The objectives of the business trip:
1. Meeting with relevant government officials from Ministry of Industry & Trade which is the main authority for rice policies in Vietnam to have updates and understandings on the current regulation and status of Vietnamese Rice (Location: Ho Chi Minh city)
2. To create networking and strengthen the relation between Singaporean Rice Importers and Vietnamese Rice Enterprises/Associations through seminar and business matching programs.
3. To bring opportunities for Singaporean Rice Importers to have a deeper understanding and a closer view into Vietnam-rice industry through visiting to several rice cultivation areas and rice storages in Mekong Delta (location: Can Tho City/An Giang province)
Mission Highlights:
1. Visiting Vietnam Food Expo and business matching with Vietnam Agri-food Industry
2. Meetings with relevant rice policy authorities from Ministry of Industry and Trade and local authoritiesof Mekong Delta provinces.
3. Meeting with Vietnam Food Association and Vietnam rice enterprises
4. Site visits (rice cultivation areas and rice storages)
Mrs Thu Quynh TRAN, Head of Vietnam Trade Office will be leading the Singapore delegations to Vietnam which will cover Ho Chi Minh city and other West Mekong Delta provinces.
