Founded in 1995, Nafoods Group is among the most innovative fruit and vegetable growers, processors and exporters in Vietnam, specializing in Fruit Juice/ NFC, Puree, Concentrate, IQF and Fresh Fruits.
VALUE CHAIN OF NAFOODS
1. Plant breeding
With the cooperation of experts from Chung Hsing National University from Taiwan, Nafoods has achieved a high-tech passion fruit seedlings nursery with a total area of 6 ha and a capacity of 6 – 6.5 million seedlings per year. This nursery has provided disease-free passion fruit seedlings for large plantations throughout Vietnam and Laos export markets.
The Nafoods Research and Development Institute for Agriculture and Taiwanese experts are developing new Nafoods branded varieties, expected to be launched in late 2018. These new passion fruit varieties will be suitable to grow in Vietnam climate conditions and available for fresh fruit markets in Vietnam and worldwide.
2. Raw materials
The raw material areas are invested with modern and synchronous irrigation systems & modern farming techniques to produce high-quality clean products.
3. Production And Processing
Fresh fruits and vegetables are quickly transported to the production plants, then sorted and put into the modern European processing lines to turn into many different types of products, namely fruit concentrate juice, fruit puree juice, IQF vegetables and fruits, fresh fruits. These types of products meet the standards of strict food safety certificates such as AIJN, Halal, Kosher, BRC, SGF, ISO 22000:2005, etc.
4. Distribution – Consumption
After being processed and packaged, these products are quickly put into the storage system, loaded into containers, then distributed to supermarkets, distribution channels, and seaports for export.
Currently, Nafoods products have been exported to more than 70 countries worldwide, especially to the most demanding markets such as European countries, the US, Australia, Japan, etc.
Moreover, the company has been researching fruit juice products to meet domestic demand.
