Benton Township police were called at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday to the 2700 block of Townline Road on a report of a shooting. Officers said Saffell was wanted on several felony warrants, including home invasion as well as resisting arrest, fleeing and alluding. Two of the officers were shot.
